Location
Pecan Valley Apartments are located at 106 East
College Street in Bono, Arkansas just one half block from downtown and
immediately across the street from a very active Senior Citizens
Center. It is also within walking distance to a bank, grocery store and
several churches.
Local Attractions
Only a short drive away, Arkansas State University
in Jonesboro provides educational opportunities plus countless sporting
events, drama productions and art displays. Shopping abounds at the new
Turtle Creek Mall just off Stadium Boulevard. Joe Mack Campbell Park
provides one of the largest recreational parks in north Arkansas.
Healthcare Facilities
Two major hospitals are only minutes away from
Pecan Valley. Both St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center and NEA
Hospital are located in Jonesboro just east of Bono on highway 63.
There are numerous other medical clinics, physicians, specialist,
dentist, ophthalmologists other medical services.
Apartment Features
Pecan Valley Apartments consists of twenty-four
1-bedroom units featuring carpeting throughout except for the kitchen
and bath, mini blinds, central heat & air, and range and refrigerator.
Each apartment has its own washer & dryer hook-up in the unit and a coin
operated laundry facility located in the Community Building. A Site
Manager lives on the property for 24 hour emergency services.
The Office and Community Building is the old
historic home of Doctor Smith who lived and practiced medicine in the
old brick home built in 1903. The home has an upstairs residence for the
Site Manager and downstairs facilities for use of the residents
including a large community room, dining room, full kitchen and computer
room with two computers exclusively for the use of the residents with
access to the internet at no charge. The Site Manager provides computer
assistance free to anyone upon request.
Rent
Pecan Valley Apartments are exclusively reserved
for people 62 years or older. Two units are specially designed for the
mobility impaired. Rent is calculated based upon income. Medical
expenses are an allowable deduction from income. The rent includes
all utilities except telephone and TV cable.
